ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The fourth Annual Oakland Local Scholarship Drawings will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 2:00pm, in Union Office Conference Room 601.There will be three drawings for three $500.00 scholarships, with the winners being selected at random. All Members are welcome to attend.

Applicants must be a child or grandchild of an active Oakland Local APWU 78 member. Applicants must also be a full time student taking at least 12 units at an accredited junior college, four year college or university, or a student enrolled in a full time program at an accredited trade or vocation school. SAT/ACT scores and grades will not be a criterion used to determine winners. A student can only win one scholarship.
